Holocaust in Hungary

One thing I have been really interested in lately is history.  The richest history in the world is said to happen in Europe.  I learnt a lot about the Holocaust when I went to Japan. We visited Hiroshima and saw the place the atomic bomb hit.  It was incredible that something can destroy that much... I like reading stories about survivors, and visiting the places I have read about.  While on Pintrest (of course) I found this picture about Hungary. During WWII the soldiers forced the Hungarians to leave their shoes along the bank of the river right before they shot the people into the river. The shoes on here are made if iron and are meant to represent the shoes that were lost.

Italy

While in Italy my classmates and I visited Rome, Sorrento, and Montecatini Terme, along with one other small town that I dont remember the name of. I realized I don't like Rome, it was a let down, the Colleseum was cool, but I would never go back. They say that eveey dark cloud has a silver lining, that lining was the small towns in Italy, I loved Montecatini Terme, so much that I want to go back to Italy to continue exploring..this is one of those places I found on Pinterest.

Wanderlust/Serendipity Tattoo..

I'm thinking of getting two tattoos, one that says 'Wanderlust' and the other that says 'Serendipity'. For those of you who don't know what serendipity means, it means a finding something good without looking for it. What do you think? 

 I like the way this one looks, but I'm not sure about the font.

 I really like the font, but not crazy about the placement, I think it might look funny on my wrist lol.

 I really like how small this one is.

 I really like this one, but how easy would that be to cover up?

Intro to me and my travels

Hello, my names Amanda and my dream is to travel the world.  I'm going to list all of the new places I want to go as well as pictures of places I have been.I have already been to:                                    -Mexico                                    -Cuba                                    -Japan                                    -France                                    -Italy                                    -Spain                                    -U.S.AI am from Canada, eh? Haha, it's my parents who took me traveling when I was younger. I also went on two school trips, one was to Japan. And the other was to France, Italy and Spain. I loved Italy and Spain and Cuba, they are deffinately my favorite places in the world, so far.  You may say that I have Wanderlust.  :)
